- Find the city's wholesale fish, flower or produce market (the first one you can reach, not the famous one) and its opening hour.
- Get there in the dark before the public are let in, and walk one full lap before you buy.
- Buy a single thing from the trader who looked busiest, and ask them how to keep it.
