Eat at a place that makes only one thing
“A place that sells one dish and nothing else feels like it is missing a menu, until the food arrives and you realise they have simply run out of things to hide behind.”
The Recipe
- Find the nearest place whose sign or window names a single dish (one thing, not a menu) and go in.
- Order it the plain way, no additions, however they serve it by default.
- Eat it slowly enough to work out the one thing they do that a place with a full menu would never bother with.
