The Recipe
- Pick one long street and walk it once, slowly, looking only up.
- Find what you think is the oldest building and the newest, and list what tells them apart: the materials, the windows, how straight the lines run.
- Find one building pretending to be older than it is, and work out what gives it away.
- Guess the age of one more before you check it, and see how close you got.
