Make a sun-print of one thing and keep it
“You will be sure you exposed it wrong the whole time it sits in the sun. The moment it rinses to blue and the white shape appears, you made a photograph without a camera.”
The Recipe
- Get a pack of pre-coated cyanotype paper from an art shop or order it ahead.
- Lay one flat thing on a sheet (a leaf, a key, a paper cut-out) and leave it in direct sun for the time on the pack.
- Rinse the sheet in water until the blue sets, and dry it flat.
