Ask the band if you can sing one
“Asking live musicians to let you up is a different order of nerve than a machine and a screen. If they say yes there is no backing out, and that is exactly why to ask.”
The Recipe
- Find a pub or bar with a live band on tonight, the first one you hear, not the best.
- Wait for a break, and ask if you can sing one you both know.
- If they call you up, sing it to the room and get off.
